Since Disney+ now has The Cleaner I’m finally watching the first season and let me just say this: Greg Davies is always hot but Greg Davies with an earring is even hotter
Man, even the crowd chanting “CHA CHA CHA” and the juries managed to ruin it, why can’t it be a public vote only who are these old people fuck off
That Germany only got 3 points from the jury still doesn’t sit right with me. It was a slick performance with great production and amazing vocal powers (those growling bits are hard af to do and to switch like that isn’t easy. There a reason why a lot of bands have two different people doing it) which are all.things the jury is supposed to take in regards with their voting. It’s like those only exists for pop and this goes for most rock/metal at esc in the past they almost always get snubbed by the juries.
I just feel like juries are way to biased towards pop and ignore out there entries despite how much skill they show like stuff like AWS or Hatari etc. I really think the juries need to be more diverse in music terms. Honestly I’m not surprised why a lot of metal/rock fans don’t care about esc
europeans will say “why aren’t people singing in their own language ugh and the entries are all boring ballads eurovision used to be gay where is the panache” and then still choose to vote for an english song in the colour beige

I think the result that annoys me the most actually isn’t Loreen winning despite me not liking Tattoo that much but it’s that Germany actually tried by doing more risky stuff, having a much more diversive nf in case of genres and artists and actually put a lot of personal power and promo (with extra esc shows all week which we’ve never really done since Lena I think) and we still came last like that. Sure bums me out a lot tbh
